Job Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain relevant food safety records.
Monitor and maintain proper sanitation and hygiene practices in the production area, including equipment cleaning and pest control.
Ensure microbiological laboratory carried out are according to company and government regulatory standard.
Assist in customers' feedback and discuss with the relevant departments on the corrective and preventive actions required.
Stay up-to-date with the latest food regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance and suggest improvements to existing processes.
Assist in internal, external and regulatory audits.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
To carry out other duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Nitec/ Higher Nitec/ Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in Food Science/ Technology.
5.5 days work week (Alternate Saturdays half day until 12PM)
Proactive; able to work independently with minimal supervision or reminders on daily tasks.
Min. 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good initiative and effective communication skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks and easily adapt on changing situations.
Able to understand/ converse in Mandarin (as to liaise with Mandarin speaking employees/ associates).
