In this role, you will lead a team overseeing the full product lifecycle of AI-powered platforms, driving user-focused outcomes with real-world impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers in shaping and executing product strategy for AI and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and user needs.
  • Define and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps, prioritising features and release strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders and end-users.
  • Drive discovery and validation of user needs through agile methodologies, translating insights into actionable product features.
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects, designers, engineers, and operations to ensure cohesive and timely product development.
  • Champion user-centred design principles, ensuring products deliver tangible value, improve operational efficiency, and enhance user experience.
  • Explore and evaluate commercial collaboration opportunities to co-develop or integrate external solutions where applicable.
  • Establish metrics for performance tracking, and lead iterative testing, refinement, and reporting across the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee team capacity planning, performance management, and professional development to foster a high-performing and engaged team culture.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in digital product management or related roles, with proven experience leading high-performing product teams.
  • Demonstrated success in managing full product lifecycles using agile, lean, and design thinking methodologies.
  • Experience in developing digital products related to security, such as surveillance systems, physical security solutions, cybersecurity platforms, or other mission-critical applications, is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical grasp of AI, data science, and emerging technologies. Familiarity with AI/ML applications is advantageous.
  • Prior experience working on products deployed in public sector or national-level environments is a plus.
