We are looking for a seasoned Application Support specialist with experience in Corporate Security applications, client/server architecture, project management, and ongoing support across AsiaPac, within a dynamic Corporate Security Technology environment.

The Regional Application Support specialist will:

• Build and support the Card Access Control system, Physical Security Information Management, CCTV/Video Surveillance, and other corporate security applications across the Asia Pacific region.

• Report to regional Corporate Security Business Solution lead within Global Technology.

• Support and manage a portfolio of applications and interact with various technology groups and business users in the Asia Pacific region.

• Provide end-to-end support for security applications and incident resolution. Assist with compliance, change/risk management, and governance drills.

• Serve as part of a larger Business Solutions team, co-located in the US and the UK.

• Prepare training materials and host regular training sessions to business users on the new product launch and coach the team on existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with internal technology groups, change management, and other key stakeholders for new application deployment and system changes.

• Lead design, test, and implement new technology solutions, system upgrades, and manage application/OS patches as per global bank standards independently.

• Perform required application Testing after Windows/SQL updates and patching installations.

• Work closely with vendor and business partners to perform application software Installation and testing on new Servers.

• Work regularly with the vendor to enhance the application performance and implement new system features, and resolve break fixes.

• Provide first-line support to Production, Disaster Recovery, and Pre-Production for Corporate Security portfolio of applications /SQL Databases, Network, or Windows SMEs through to resolution.

• Focal point for any technical issues from the above systems to be logged and investigated with the vendor technical support team if they can’t be fixed locally.

• Able to manage security software application projects end-to-end, on delivery, and within budget.

• Proactively monitor server capacity, application performance, and provide recommendations to address capacity and application performance issues.

• Prepare and update system/operational documentation, prepare training material, and conduct training sessions for internal users and for the technical team.

• Help to troubleshoot and

• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and investigate issues pertaining to corporate security applications.

• Provide occasional out of hours/weekend coverage to support Corporate Security applications.

Key Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Electronics / similar discipline.

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Corporate Security applications, Windows Client/Server architecture & networks.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL database, SQL scripting, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably any Data Visualization tools.

• In-depth knowledge of building access control systems/security disciplines.

• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft client/server operating systems (e.g. Windows server

2022, 2025, etc.), Microsoft IIS/Web server, Networking skills preferred (Hardware, TCP/IP, DNS, WideIP, firewall etc).

• Expertise in personal computer hardware and software, network hardware (file server, NIC, cabling), and desktop operating systems (Windows 11 and later).

• Sound knowledge of Access control and CCTV applications and backend architecture (Nodes, card readers, DVR, etc.).

• Industry Certifications desired but not essential – Windows Server or Amazon AWS / Microsoft Azure or Cloud certifications, and Security product certifications.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and interact with diverse levels and styles in both business and technical areas.

• Attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organization skills, ability to work independently, and as a strong team member.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment.

• Highly motivated individual with a passion for learning new technology developments, changes in security industry, and desired knowledge on Generative AI, IOT etc.
