about the job
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technology function within the Systems Engineering and Administration team. You will be responsible for planning, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level IT systems, with a strong focus on change and deployment governance to ensure the stability and performance of critical infrastructure. The role also includes hands-on work with various database, middleware, and automation technologies, as well as ongoing system enhancements and compliance-focused activities.
skills and experience required
- Experience in ITIL methodology, especially Change and Deployment Management
- Hands-on expertise in databases and middleware including Oracle, MariaDB, MS SQL, Weblogic, Websphere, Kafka, and others
- Proficiency in operating systems like Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, AIX, and HP-UX
- Experience in patch management and automation tools (e.g., BigFix, Chef)
- Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Familiarity with security audits, compliance, and vulnerability assessment
- Willingness to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotation basis.
