
Maintenance Technician (Semicon MNC/ North)

Position: Equipment Maintenance Technician (12-month Contract, Renewable)
Location: Bendemeer
Working Hours: 12-hour rotating shift
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment.
- Disassemble, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment using blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
- Use diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment modifications as directed.
- Track equipment performance and take corrective actions to maintain operational efficiency.
- Document shift activities and lead passdowns.
- Collaborate in Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP).
- Analyze equipment data for advanced troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work closely with team members to resolve production issues quickly.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Nitec in Engineering.
- Technical/vocational certificates in automation-related courses are an advantage.
- Preferably with 2 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment.
