Position Overview

You would be working closely with the Operations team and be exposed to a full suite of operations functions in a regulated financial institution. You should be eager to learn, to be exposed to different processes and cross functional teams, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a group of exceptional self-starters who want to make a difference.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Trade execution and settlement: monitor and execute trade instructions for various securities
  • Reconciliation: perform daily reconciliation of client assets including but not limited to fiat currency, digital payment tokens, traditional securities, funds, structured products and security tokens
  • Reporting: generate accurate and timely reports for internal and external stake holders
  • Corporate Actions: handle corporate actions related to assets under custody
  • Client Service: Provide timely and accurate information to clients on trades and resolve an issues or concerns
  • Risk Management: Understand enterprise risk managements and apply to daily job tasks
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all transactions.
  • Collaboration: collaborate with both internal cross functional teams and external stakeholders on process improvements, system enhancements
  • Process improvement: drive projects to improve efficiency and accuracy of actuals tracking through automation and system interfacing
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Penultimate or final year student from a recognized university
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – especially excel. Familiarity with Macros and VBA will be a plus
  • Highly motivated individual who exercises initiative and willingness to take on tasks to broaden exposure and learning experience
  • Essential attributes: critical thinking, problem-solving skills, meticulous, resourceful, independent
