
Field Engineer (Bukom)
Your role
Our Oil & Energy Downstream Client is urgently looking for Field Engineer who will be able to apply his/her expertise and experience to develop a quality scope of work, MTO, and Operations supporting documents and to oversee the work’s field execution and to ensure that the CAIR Project objectives are achieved.
The works to be executed will be situated at the location of the Petrochemical Complex on Pulau Bukom Besar, Pulau Kechil, Pulau Ular and will cover, amongst others, work required for any kind of CAIR activities. Current CAIR Program work is in PU4 and in Marine Area and later based on COMPANY requirement will be extended for other Production Units.
Scope of Work/ Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of in house contractors focusing on delivery of the assigned CAIR and site-infra projects
- Drives the day to day activities to ensure field work activities progressed as planned meeting the agreed timeline and project objectives.
- Maintaining and delivering the highest standards of safety and environmental performance both in design and construction in alignment with ACEPL policy and local authority requirements. Ensure safety protocols are followed and implemented by all Contractors
- Ensuring that projects comply with all applicable laws, regulations, codes and standards.
- Review and approving contractors Method statement and execution plans, contractor execution of quality assurance and ensures the same is complied with at the site. Review and coordinate construction related documents which are required for the execution of field works ( eg HT waiver, Temporary Repair, Temporary Isolation Plug form, Job packs)
- Attends to site walk, meeting to achieve alignment with Inspection, Operations, HSSE team and others, as required
- Providing accurate and comprehensive project progress reports in written form to ACEPL management and reporting project status to ACEPL project team
You are what we are lookig for if you:
- Have minimum 10 years of construction and field engineering experience, preferably in oil & gas downstream, refinery, and chemical projects
- Have project experience form client side, preferablly
- Have experience working on pipe repair projects
