Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly.
  • Support fee collection and cash management and depositing cash/cheque into bank.
  • Coordinate all maintenance issues of the centre with the assigned technicians/companies.
  • Liaise with social worker, social work assistant and make arrangement for initial screening, case conference etc., as and when needed.
  • Prepare and dispatch various letters and memos to clients/caregivers.
  • Provide administrative support to the respective committees of various events, trainings of the centre and children services.
  • Handle the following Office administration matters:
    • Organising and maintaining an efficient and effective filing system
    • Maintaining inventories and fixed assets
    • Maintaining clients’ records in soft and hard copy; and
    • Collecting and maintaining monthly statistical records of programmes and activities
    • Providing administrative, data entry, operations and procurement support
    • Requesting and maintaining office supplies
    • Participating in events organised / supported by SPD as when required
    • Coordinating training programmes
    • Attending and contributing to staff meetings; any other meetings as and when necessary
  • Any other duties assigned as and when necessary.
Requirements

  • At least an ‘O’ Level/’A’ Level/ITE Certification from a recognised educational institution
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience or background in social service sector would be advantageous
