Process and Production Supervisor (Oil & Gas)
Our client is from Oil and Gas industry, a local leading player. They are looking for a Process and Production Supervisor to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.
Duties of Process and Production Supervisor:
- Lead daily toolbox meetings, review shift activities, and allocate resources for efficient work execution.
- Review and issue work permits (e.g., confined space, working at height, hot work) to ensure compliance with HSSE standards and safe work procedures.
- Oversee terminal operations, including gas supply delivery, LNG unloading/reloading, equipment handling, and chemical transfers, ensuring safety and reliability.
- Monitor equipment and process systems, respond to alarms promptly, and initiate corrective actions to maintain optimal operations.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance by executing safe shutdown procedures (e.g., de-energizing, purging, lockout/tagout).
- Troubleshoot abnormal operating conditions and lead emergency response efforts as per industry protocols.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as strainer cleaning, gas cylinder replacement, and flange makeup.
- Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and participate in internal/external audits.
- Manage team performance through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Support project-related tasks and rotate between shift and day work as needed.
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team (CERT), acting as Site Incident Commander during emergencies and liaising with authorities.
- Conduct routine safety checks on emergency equipment (e.g., SCBAs, firefighting gear, safety showers) to ensure operational readiness.
Requirements:
- Min 15 years' experience in process operations in Oil & Gas industry
- Possess supervisory experience
- Nitec / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology
