The Landscape Manager (Landscape Design and Construction) is involved in all aspects of a landscape construction project. Working in a team that may include landscape designers and architects, he/she will meet with the clients to ascertain the clients' specific needs and wants, and develop a proposal for the implementation of the project in accordance with the brief. He/She will source the plants and materials required for the project, and manage a team of workers or contractors to translate the landscape plans into a reality that is to the clients' expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create landscape plans according to clients' requirements.Create landscape plans according to clients' requirements.
- Ensure quality of landscaping is acceptable to clients.
- Manage all aspects of the project including planning daily work activities and scheduling work crews.
- Manage on-site workers and contractors working on the landscape project.
- Meet with clients to understand their landscaping requirements.
- Train workers on safety procedures when working with equipment and tools.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the Landscape Industry (Environmental Services)
- ISA Certified arborist with 3 years of related field work will be advantageous
- As and when necessary, to be able to work on weekends and Public holidays.
- Able to manage workload and deal with ad hoc operations
- Able to work 6 days per week
