
E&I Engineer - 1 year contract / Water Treatment MNC
Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a E&I Engineer to assist their E&I team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in South – easily accessible.
Duties of E&I Engineer:
- Review project specs to ensure equipment meets contract requirements
- Prepare and approve instrument and electrical deliverables (e.g. wiring diagrams, lists, data sheets)
- Create material requests and evaluate bids for electrical and instrument equipment
- Develop engineering standards and procedures for design
- Monitor project costs and schedules
- Attend technical meetings and address client feedback
- Support plant start-up and on-site troubleshooting
- Provide technical support and estimates to the sales team
- Advise engineers and Project Managers
- Follow company health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Engineering/ Electrical or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Familiar with key engineering concepts and practices
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of hazard area classification
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
