
Gym Trainer (Govt Sector / Shift Work / No Night Shift / 5.5 Days)
Working Hours:
Shift 1: 7am to 4pm
Shift 2: 9am to 6pm
Shift 3: 12pm to 9pm
Working Location: Cashew
Duration of the Contract: 4 Years
Salary: $2.5k-2.8k
Working days: 5.5 days
Key Responsibilities
- Gym Operations & MaintenancePerform opening and closing duties, ensuring the gym is ready for use at designated hours.
Conduct daily checks on gym equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Report or handle minor equipment repairs
Maintain gym cleanliness and organization
Monitor inventory of gym supplies (e.g., cleaning materials, first-aid items) and coordinate with management for replenishment.
- Safety & GuidanceEnsure gym users understand and follow safety protocols
Educate and assist members with proper form, technique, and equipment handling
- Personal Training & Program DesignConduct fitness assessments for new members
Develop personalized workout plans for members
Offer group or one-on-one training sessions
- Exergame Briefing & OperationsIntroduce and instruct members on the safe and effective use of exergame equipment.
Monitor exergame sessions to ensure members are using the equipment correctly and benefiting from the experience.
- Administrative TasksTrack member attendance and provide input on gym usage patterns.
Assist in organizing and running gym events, classes, or workshops.
Provide regular reports on equipment status and member feedback to management.
Qualifications
- Certification: Accredited fitness certification (e.g., NCSF, ACE, or equivalent) will be a bonus.
- Experience: Proven experience as a fitness trainer or similar role in a gym setting.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, motivational abilities, and knowledge of health and safety standards in fitness settings.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
Key Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of fitness, exercise routines, and nutrition basics.
- Ability to perform minor equipment repairs or report issues as needed.
- Familiarity with exergame technology
- High attention to detail to maintain gym standards and ensure member safety.
