WINGS Therapy and Learning Center, Singapore's leading intensive therapy center for children with special needs, is looking for an Accounts and HR Intern to join our growing team.
This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both the financial and HR functions of our center, supporting the smooth operation of services that transform the lives of children and their families.
As an Accounts and HR Intern, you will handle daily financial and administrative tasks while assisting in employee management processes. If you are passionate about making a difference and eager to gain experience in a meaningful industry, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Support:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, data entry, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely transactions.
- Assist with monthly financial reports and tracking of budgets related to therapy programmess and operational costs.
- Organise financial documents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor accounts payables and receivables to ensure prompt processing and collections.
2. HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records, including attendance, leave applications, and certifications.
- Support onboarding processes by preparing employee documentation and coordinating orientation for new hires.
- Support employee insurance claims.
3. Recruitment and Team Support:
- Help coordinate recruitment efforts by posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Assist in maintaining a positive work environment by supporting employee engagement initiatives.
4. Compliance and Policies:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and local labour regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of HR documents, including contracts, letters, and performance review materials.
5. Administrative Support:
- Manage office supplies and liaise with vendors for administrative needs.
- Provide general support to the finance and HR teams with ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma/Certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided. A basic understanding of accounting and HR principles is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Knowledge of accounting or payroll software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
