Our Client is a nursing home and is looking for Therapy Assistant to join the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Therapists in carrying out individual and group activities, such as daily living tasks, range of motion exercises, mobility training, and cognitive exercises.
  • Provide education to residents/clients on the correct usage of equipment and exercise routines as outlined by the Therapists.
  • Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Prepare necessary equipment, apparatus, and mobility aids following the procedures set by the Therapists.
  • Report the progress of residents/clients to the Therapists in a timely manner. Transport residents to therapy or group activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for residents/clients and ensure proper data entry for program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee the regular maintenance checks of therapy equipment.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the workspace and uphold a safe environment by properly storing rehabilitation equipment after use.
  • Notify the supervisor when supplies are running low.

Requirement:

  • WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Support
