Job Description

  • Implement marketing campaigns across both in-app and out-of-app channels, develop an understanding of measuring campaign performance.
  • Ensure day-to-day operational excellence of marketing activities
  • Conceptualize social media strategy and manage and execute ideas on social media platforms. Create engaging, informative and visually appealing content
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to produce and develop marketing assets
  • Support the team with data reporting and generating insights
  • Monitor user behavior and engagement within the Carousell app and provide insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Ideate and test low-cost social content: Generate creative ideas and concepts for engaging social media content. Utilize basic filming and editing skills to create hacky videos. Stay updated with social media trends and adapt content creation strategies accordingly
  • Adhoc operational support for the Services team

Qualifications

  • Note: This is a 6 month full-time internship to start from July 2025.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their content requirements.
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Ability to generate insights and recommendations from large datasets .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Suite applications, particularly Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs and Powerpoint/Slides
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen eye for details
  • Good with numbers and data analysis
  • Ability to multitask and be organized
  • Proactive team player and can manage working with multiple stakeholders across different functions
  • Available to work as a full-time intern from July to December 2025
