Job Summary:
Reporting to the Piping Manager, the Assistant Manager, Piping will be responsible for overseeing piping engineering progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, and taking corrective actions as needed. The role involves providing technical guidance, reviewing deliverables, and coordinating engineering activities to ensure project completion within scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 15 years of experience in piping design, including detailed design, stress evaluation, production work, 3D model reviews, material specifications, and construction engineering support.
  • Strong knowledge of Caesar II and ability to interpret stress/vibration analysis reports.
  • Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D model review software such as Navisworks or SPR.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to apply engineering calculations.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate effectively with clients and ensure seamless project coordination.

Job Scope:

  • eview and verify piping layouts, 3D models, material take-offs (MTO), bills of quantities (BQ), and other project deliverables for compliance with project standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Assist in planning and organizing piping engineering activities, including manpower allocation.
  • Develop department procedures, manuals, guides, and training materials while conducting training sessions.
  • Provide engineering support and technical advice for piping installation and testing at construction sites.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the superior.
