Roles & Responsibilities of Electrical Engineer cum Quality Surveyor

  1. To work and co-ordinate with design/construction teams for all M&E installation and system requirement matters
  2. Manage end-to-end tendering processes for EPC contracts, prepare and submit tender quotations, progress claims and also acting as the primary electrical lead
  3. Liaise with Project Manager and prepare documents for electrical testing, rectify and repair electrical issues at site.
  4. Adhere to building construction procedures and safe work practices to ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship and meeting the stringent requirements conducted during site tests and inspections
  5. Monitor projects activities to ensure timely delivery and low wastage.
  6. The Electrical Quantity Surveyor should be capable of costing and agreeing daily work changes to include managing the subcontractor remeasurement of contract works, site dayworks and site change orders. Maintain accurate records and provide necessary detailed backup to support commercial tracking and costing.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Civil engineering or Equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience in project supervision/electrical contracting
  • AutoCAD/BIM/Revit Knowledge will be an advantage
