About the role

Due to ongoing growth and consistent workflow, we are currently seeking Junior to Mid-Level Associate for our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven junior to mid-level lawyer seeking front-facing experience in both Singapore court work and international arbitration, while working on cross-border disputes for a global client base in a fast-paced and collaborative team of industry experts in Singapore and the global Clyde & Co network.

We are committed to developing junior talent through active mentoring, early responsibility, and a clearly structured feedback and progression framework. The firm also provides access to extensive internal learning and development resources, covering technical legal skills, business development, and wellbeing, intended to support a sustainable, long-term legal career.

While we operate in a high-performance environment, we recognise the value of balance and support appropriate work-from-home arrangements, subject to evolving firm and client needs.

Key expectations

  • Singapore-qualified with at least 1 - 2 years' PQE;
  • Solutions-oriented mindset, high attention to detail and 'can do' approach;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in order to meet deliverables to a very high standard;
  • Strong academic credentials and solid experience in general litigation and/or international arbitration background;
  • Exposure to shipping or international trade disputes will be highly regarded;
  • Chinese language proficiency is advantageous, though formal Mandarin qualifications are not essential;
  • Interest in business development and client engagement, with partner support.
