
Senior Business Analyst
The role:
As a Business Analyst at Zuhlke, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality digital solutions that align business objectives with technical implementation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, applying an agile mindset to drive digital transformation. You’ll bridge the gap between business and engineering, leveraging both technical and analytical skills to turn ideas into impactful solutions.
How you will make an impact:
- Define and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and user story mapping to align stakeholders.
- Capture Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria to support agile delivery.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions in line with enterprise architecture.
- Read and analyze legacy codebases to derive business logic and inform requirements.
- Work with engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and clarify specifications.
- Perform light ETL tasks and write SQL queries to support data analysis or validation.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize user-centered requirements.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure alignment.
- Identify and adopt the best development methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
- Analyze change impacts and propose continuous improvements.
- Assist leadership in identifying new digital transformation opportunities
What is important for this role:
- Agile expertise – Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Lean, and CI/CD.
- Technical literacy – Able to read code and interpret software logic; familiarity with SQL and ETL processes.
- Cross-functional communication – Comfortable working with both business and engineering teams.
- Legacy systems understanding – Capable of extracting insights and requirements from existing codebases.
- Stakeholder management – Ability to engage and influence diverse teams.
- Analytical skills – Structured, goal-oriented problem solver.
- Clear communication – Translating complex requirements into actionable insights.
- Business Analysis experience – Proven track record in IT analysis and solution design.
- Industry knowledge – Experience in government or digital transformation is a plus.
- Certifications – CBAP or equivalent is preferred.
