
Assistant Manager, Partnership Development
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager, Partnership and Development supports the manager in fund raising activities including partnering with corporates and organisations in the form of direct donations, donation in kind or through fund raising events.
Applicants will be expected to work beyond the normal working hours and on weekends to achieve the fund raising targets.
Key responsibility areas
- Identify and cultivate potential new partnerships that will advance the organisation’s mission and to meet individual fundraising target contributing to the overall target of Morning Star.
- Build and engage close working relationships with various corporate stakeholders and sponsors
- Develop, motivate and enhance relationships with sponsors, donors and volunteers
- Develop, drive and implement fundraising initiatives through all marketing channels
- Oversee the development of the organisation’s fundraising materials and collaterals
- Coordinate all development related mailings, including direct mails and donor updates to help reinforce the mission of the organisation
- Manage donor records and update information on central database
- Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Manager
Requirements
- Minimally a Diploma preferably in Mass Communications, Marketing or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, sales, customer relations
- Experience in the social service sector preferable
Other Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written command of English Language is essential
- Possession of traits: excellent project management and implementation skills, analytical, energetic
- Resourceful and have working knowledge of social media tools
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
