Job Responsibility:

  • Schedule the allocated resources to carry out the necessary maintenance activities to meet KPI targets.
  • Ensuring the in-stock parts quantity are sufficient and kept to ideal levels by monitoring spare parts consumption and replenishing stocks when low by raising purchase requisitions.
  • Sustaining and improving safety in the work area by ensuring the workplace and practices complies with safety requirements, while identifying and implementing safety improvements.
  • Identify, propose, implement, and/or support improvement projects such as 5S, installation of new machines, machines shifting, overhauling or upgrading for improved machine performance / ease of maintenance.
  • Liase and coordinate with vendors and partners
  • Explore new technologies, processes or trends that may be applied to benefit the company.
  • To prepare reports and monitor maintenance performance
  • Ensuring that the servicing and maintainance of the machines by corrective or preventive maintenance are carried out effectively and as per plan.
  • Lead a team of technicians to troubleshoot, analyze issues, resolve equipment breakdown safely and identify the root cause to prevent recurrence.

Job Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in working with PLC systems, inverter, servos, AC/DC motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Able to understand and interpret drawings or schematic diagrams
  • Experienced with team and vendor management
  • Experienced with safety and government regulations
