Job Description:

  1. Responsible for the total management of patients in the department with the assistance of the Nursing Officer/ Staff Nurse in charge;
  2. Contributing to quality outpatient and inpatient clinical services, including running specialist outpatient clinics, supervising inpatient care and providing specialist consultations;
  3. Participating in on-call rosters for emergencies and clinical service provision;
  4. Providing teaching and supervision to junior medical staff;
  5. Be involved in Education, Research and/or Administrative aspect;
  6. Other administrative duties.

Requirement:

  1. Possess a basic medical degree and relevant post graduate qualification that are recognised and registrable with the Singapore Medical Council and Specialist Accreditation Board;
  2. Completed specialist training with the qualification that is registrable with the Specialist Accreditation Board;
  3. Eligible for Conditional or Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council;
  4. Be registered as a medical practitioner in the country where you are currently practising;
  5. Be in active clinical practice for the 3 years (post housemanship) preceding the application for medical registration in Singapore;
  6. Provide evidence of English language proficiency and meet the requirements specified by the Singapore Medical Council if the basic medical qualification is not conducted in English language.
