
Project Manager
Project Management
· To execute projects effectively and to identify and mitigate any potential risk on site timely.
· To liaise with architects/consultants and client if any in all aspects of construction matters during the site progression phase.
· To ensure quality delivery of the projects by meeting clients’ expectation and satisfying relevant authority and regulatory compliances.
· To oversee the project team and sub-contractors in delivery of project in accordance to approved contract completion date/ stipulated phases.
· To plan for short-term/ phasing work schedule(s) as per contract duration/ timing.
· To plan and co-ordinate sub-contractors’ trade works and to resolve work issues with sub-contractors on site and monitor site progression.
· To implement project’s target set in alignment with company’s objectives/goals.
Project Budget Control
· To control the material usage/ wastages on site.
· To control the usage of machineries/ equipment / utilities on site.
· To control the direct labour costs in labour allocation and overtime work, etc.
· To ensure the construction method is cost effective and more productive without compromising on quality.
Technical Understanding
· To understand the drawings, specification requirements and contract scope of work.
· To understand the implications of different technical choices so as to meet the Director’s objectives.
· To involve in providing valuable engineering solutions.

Leadership
· To lead a project team and achieve excellence in the project.
· To manage changes within the project team effectively.
Teamwork
· To reinforce the team including sub-contractors cohesively on internal initiatives.
· To support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the organization.
QCT Management
· To communicate effectively with consultants, client if any and evaluate alternative solutions (Time and Cost).
· To deliver superior solutions (Quality) towards the project.
· To maintain hazard free environment (Time and Cost)

· Participate in all programs and enforce all policies relating to performance evaluations and career development planning.
· Review the management evaluations consistently.
· Impress upon management the importance of the performance evaluation programs.
· Manage the development of subordinates.
· Assign tasks that give subordinates an opportunity to grow.
Job Specification
Minimum Educational Qualifications/ Experience Required:
Degree in Civil / Structural/ Building Engineering – Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
Diploma in Civil/ Building – Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Special requirements: (eg. Need to work at odd hours, must have BCSS, WHSO certified by MOM /BCA etc.)
- Able to work independently and plan/ coordinate work on site
- Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Certification for construction safety course(s)
