Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, specify, recommend, develop and commission customized automated equipment and machinery to attain cost/waste reduction, quality, productivity and production modernization goals.
- Justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX), conduct cost/benefit analyses and put up capital appropriation requests (CAR).
- Develop Statement of Work (SOW) for proposals, machine specifications and FAT/SAT.
- Analyze operational problems and develop / implement engineering solutions for existing or new processes.
- Perform robotic and line control interface programming in accordance with industry and Collins Aerospace guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments, robotic system safety specifications, in accordance with Company’s EHS and industry requirements.
- Utilize Company’s quality tool (CORE) to foster robust project plans, status, schedules and communications to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Robotics)
- At least 3 years’ working experience in delivering Robotic and automated solutions
- Able to work rotating shifts.
