Job Responsibilities :

  • Source for tenders on platforms like Gebiz, etc.
  • Attend site-showround/site-walk to prepare for new tenders.
  • Develop proposals and tender documents for RFPs, RFQs, and tenders within the tender submission deadline.
  • Perform quantity measurements for tenders and existing projects.
  • Source for quotations and material procurement for tenders and ongoing projects.
  • Attend tender clarifications/interviews with project managers/directors for contract negotiation.
  • Prepare and submit progressive payment claims for ongoing projects.
  • Evaluate and certify progressive claims of sub-contractors.
  • Measure and prepare for variation claim (if any), including supporting documents if needed
  • Attend site-meeting with client (if needed) and help to coordinate between client and sub-contractors/workforce.
  • Assist project manager/director with project budgeting and control of cashflow and costing.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirements :

  • Minimum diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying or equivalent with 2-years experience
  • Experience in Repairs and Redecorations projects is a bonus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and other quantity takeoff programmes
  • Possess strong knowledge in construction field
  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English

Job Benefits :

Pay: $3,300.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

Education:

  • Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Construction: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
