Job Title: Admin cum Trainer Assistant
Reports to: Master Trainer
Job Overview:
The Admin cum Trainer Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Pilates studio by providing administrative support and assisting trainers with client services. This multifaceted position requires excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for health and fitness.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Front Desk Management:
Answer whatsapp, respond to emails, and manage inquiries regarding class schedules, pricing, and studio services.
Manage the studio schedule, including booking and canceling appointments using studio software.
Process client payments, sell memberships, and handle retail transactions.
Maintain client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. - Studio Operations:
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio, including the reception area, workout spaces, and equipment.
Manage inventory of studio supplies and retail products, and place orders as needed.
Assist with marketing efforts, including social media management, email campaigns, and promotional events.
Prepare reports and assist with administrative tasks as needed. - Client Communication:
Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate studio updates, policy changes, and promotional offers to clients.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to foster a welcoming and supportive studio environment.
Trainer Assistant Duties:
- Class Support:
Assist trainers in setting up and preparing the studio for classes, including arranging equipment and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Provide hands-on adjustments and modifications to clients during classes, under the direct supervision of the trainer.
Demonstrate exercises and proper form to clients as needed.
Monitor clients' progress and provide feedback to the trainer. - Client Assistance:
Assist clients with the use of Pilates equipment and ensure they are comfortable and safe.
Provide support and motivation to clients during their workouts.
Answer client questions about Pilates exercises and techniques, referring them to the trainer for more in-depth information. - Equipment Maintenance:
Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of Pilates equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the studio manager or head trainer.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a fitness or wellness setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and studio management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in a related fitness discipline is a plus.
- CPR/AED certification is a plus.
