Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize heat treatment and plating processes for metal components.
  • Design and specify heat treat cycles and plating techniques based on material and performance requirements.
  • Monitor process parameters to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot process issues related to hardness, distortion, plating adhesion, and surface finish.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D teams to support manufacturing and product development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AMS, ASTM, ISO) and customer specifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for process non-conformances.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate heat treating and plating vendors/suppliers.
  • Support failure analysis and metallurgical investigations.
  • Maintain accurate process documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Provide technical support for audits and customer visits.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Min 2 years of experience
  • Minimum degree in any field
