Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the construction team to prepare documents for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender.
- Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitations for RFQs.
- Assist on management of materials and equipment at the construction site.
- Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage.
- Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team.
- Assist QS manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order.
- Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts.
- Handle payment requests received from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Responsible for quantity calculation of construction drawings, preliminary material research and market survey.
- Assist to evaluate and process vendor claims as needed.
- Any other adhoc tasks assigned by QS Manager / Contracts Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of studies.
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in Quantity Surveying.
- Marine Project is prefered.
- Willing to work at West Region, especially Tuas area.
- Able to work under pressure and work under minimal supervision.
