Job Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the construction team to prepare documents for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender.
  • Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitations for RFQs.
  • Assist on management of materials and equipment at the construction site.
  • Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage.
  • Coordinate post-tender interviews between tenderers, construction team, QS team and contracts team.
  • Assist QS manager and contracts manager with quantity surveying matters relevant to Sub-Contract, Works Order and Purchase Order.
  • Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts.
  • Handle payment requests received from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Responsible for quantity calculation of construction drawings, preliminary material research and market survey.
  • Assist to evaluate and process vendor claims as needed.
  • Any other adhoc tasks assigned by QS Manager / Contracts Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of studies.
  • At least 3 years of experience, preferably in Quantity Surveying.
  • Marine Project is prefered.
  • Willing to work at West Region, especially Tuas area.
  • Able to work under pressure and work under minimal supervision.
