Your Tasks
- Design and develop relevant pricing tools that support analysis and review of pricing, costing, operational process, and profit for selected customers.
- Analyse and deploy pricing strategies on RFQs and GSRT with maximization of tools capability.
- Lead the Commercial, other functions and other regional/ global teams on pricing systems, tools and reports for actions from SPA workshop and country participation request from Regional Pricing.
- Create effective business reports on compliance level of Key Compliance KPIs (available from Monthly Pricing Reports) with regular reviews/projects.
- Invent Pricing programs through tools such as RADAR, CARAT and STP for yield improvement and for price changes such as Ship to Profile/Ship to Commit exercise, Surcharge compliance exercise and new rates program.
- Devise innovative processes to make pricing offers more efficient through offer management system and country rating system(GRE), driving faster profitable growth for DHL's business forward.
- Anchor for continuous improvement through collaborative efforts of pricing, customer masterdata management and sales support processes.
- Execute pricing and yield improvement initiaitives such as GPI, Ship to Profile/Commit, SPA through data management and analysis.
- Train the commercial function in pricing systems and tools for onboarding and refresher course, ensuring all commercial stakeholders are adequately trained with pricing knowledge.
- Support strategic pricing projects such as General Price Increase, Strategic Pricing Initiative, S&S/DVRA Clean up program and Ship to Profile/Ship to Commit review among others.
- Support in all pricing systems, tools and reports related projects.
- Develop technical skills and knowledge of pricing executives.
- Plan, lead and manage projects with cross functional stakeholders.
- Incumbent must be able to demonstrate ability to train and equip the pricing team with pricing tools, analytical skill and efficient processes
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a product and/ or service pricing role, or in a marketing or business analysis position will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and understanding of DHL pricing and costing methodologies and tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical capability including expertise in spreadsheet (MS Excel) and database (MS Access) program, Power BI and Tableau.
- Simulation and forecasting competence is preferred.
- Good business and marketing orientation.
- Degree in Business/ Finance/ Marketing/ Commerce/ Accounting or equivalent will be preferred.
