Role Summary

The "SWIFT Service Bureau" (SB) group was created within the "IT Run" (IDS RUN) service to enable our client to be compliant as an official SWIFT Service Bureau. Its purpose is to perform tasks related to the production environments of all areas relating to the SWIFT and SIC/EUROSIC networks, including in particular application management, monitoring and 3rd level support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Shares responsibilities with other actors in the Service Bureau team and acts as a backup when the expert of his domain is absent.
  • Look after the service during Asian business hours.

Analysis, development and evaluation activities:

  • Performs technical studies for the management of applications and for the realization of projects according to the norms and standards in force and respecting the established schedules.
  • Follows the progress of the various projects and provide the progress of these projects.
  • Must be able to explain the discrepancies and propose solutions to remedy them.
  • Able to make an accurate and rapid diagnosis of the malfunction, then find the best way to remedy it.

Organisational, management and implementation activities:

  • Ensures the good performance of the applications.
  • Provide technical support with business and operations teams.
  • Maintains and ensures the continuity of all SB’s applications.

Communication, contact, animation or sales activities:

  • Develops and updates its level of technical expertise following contacts with specialists (office automation engineering, technical relationship with suppliers, contact with publishers or publishers' websites) and/or analysis of documents/products.

Financial and control activities:

  • Organize the acceptance tests and production go live. May participate in the documentation and training of customer users.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology or relevant fields.
  • At least 4 years of experience in SWIFT related products and financial messaging.
  • Prior experince in VolPay+ is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the role of integration engineer.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT formats and messaging flows, management of application environments, techniques and infrastructure, tools around the technical support of applications in production.
  • Sense of service to be rendered, rigor and pugnacity.
  • Sense of customer service.
  • Sense of responsibility and expertise in the technologies for which he/she is responsible.

Technical Skills:

  • SWIFT FIN/FILEACT/INTERACT, SIX.
  • XML:ISO2022.
  • Database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Others: Webpshere MQ, Cryptography, Linux, Shell scripting.
