IT Project Manager
Work Location: Downtown core, Singapore
Job Type: 2 Years Contract, subject to renewal
About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, and ensuring all project objectives are met. The role involves creating and managing detailed project plans, handling the entire project budget, and coordinating with both internal stakeholders and external third-party agencies. The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, appropriately resourced, and aligned with business goals. They will also lead the implementation of information systems to meet identified needs, utilizing necessary resources within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters. Additionally, the role includes contributing to project strategy development, defining tasks and deliverables, managing quality control, conducting risk analysis and mitigation, and participating in the budgeting process.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide Management updates for projects/programs portfolio.
- Keep updated with Corporate Enterprise Architect requirements.
- Guide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables.
- Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings.
- Monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
- Manage risk, issues and dependency management for the entire project.
- Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience.
- Any other tasks and works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, computer security, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Hands-on, delivery focused and pragmatic.
- Possess a proven and successful track record in delivering complex IT projects/programs.
- Hands-on IT professional with full SLDC lifecycle experience.
- Experience in a project management methodology - Prince2, PMP.
- Knowledge of software development process methodologies like RUP and / or Agile.
- Knowledge of PM tools and reporting methods.
- Ability to communicate with the business client in non-technical terms.
- Ability to give presentations.
- Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment.
- Required to undergo Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) checks.
