Cyber Security Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies and initiatives to protect the organization’s data and digital assets.
• Lead a team of security professionals in monitoring, detecting, and responding to potential threats and incidents.
• Manage and oversee regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk management processes to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to ensure secure system architecture and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Respond to and manage security breaches or incidents, providing timely reports and analysis.
• Conduct employee training on security best practices, phishing awareness, and other relevant security measures.
• Stay informed on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, applying new knowledge to improve internal security processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in a cyber security management role, with a deep understanding of threat detection, risk management, and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of security professionals.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are preferred.
