
Research Associate (III-Nitride material epigrowth)
Temasek Laboratories@NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Associate.
Temasek Laboratories@NTU explores the frontiers in science and develops strategic technologies to enhance the defence and security of Singapore. TL@NTU forms part of the defence technology community in Singapore alongside DSO National Laboratories, Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), Temasek Laboratories @ NUS and @SUTD and the local defence industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition)-based systems for the growth of III-Nitride epistructures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on CVD equipment and associated facility systems.
- Conduct semiconductor wafer characterization using tools such as optical microscopy, AFM, CV, Hall, and XRD to evaluate structural and electrical properties.
- Develop and optimize growth recipes based on characterization feedback and experimental results.
- Take responsible for laboratory related procurement and safety.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics.
- Prior experience in relevant areas is preferred.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good writing skills for writing proposals, reports and publications in good academic journals
