- Oversee 4G site rollout, including site surveys, design, testing, commissioning, and drive tests to ensure network performance meets defined KPIs
- Lead project planning, costing, and scheduling. Monitor project milestones to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage and track all engineering activities to ensure timely and efficient completion.
- Source and evaluate appropriate equipment and materials for project implementation.
- Lead the technical aspects of tender projects, reviewing documents and raising technical concerns.
- Provide design and cost estimations; liaise directly with customers on all project-related matters.
- Coordinate, manage, and supervise contractors and suppliers to ensure schedules align with project milestones.
- Review and negotiate quotations from contractors and suppliers
- Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot the 4G network to maintain service quality.
- Support and troubleshoot technical trials and services initiated by the company
- Respond to customer complaints, providing both technical solutions and cost estimates for services such as iDEN, Tetra, LTE, and others.
- Monitor inventory and ensure accurate stock tracking.
- Prepare all necessary project documentation and presentation.
- Compile and present progress reports on team activities.
- Motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
- Assign tasks fairly across the team and mentor members to improve their technical and project management skills.
- Guide team members in handling customer complaints and technical challenges.
- Track and manage weekly timesheet submissions for the team.
- Monitor and manage spare parts inventory required for network operations and projects.
- Be available 24/7 for fault support, major events, or urgent issues as required by the company.
- Provide timely support for all ad-hoc, scheduled, or event-based network activities.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, ownership, initiative, and leadership in building a high-performing technical team.
- Reporting to the RF manager and perform all assistant tasks delegated by Superior.
- Min Diploma / Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of Radio Frequency relevant experience.
- Proven experience in team leadership and project management.
- Strong knowledge of LTE mobile networks, including radio planning, optimization, and troubleshooting; familiarity with Tetra networks.
- Experience in manual distributed antenna systems (DAS) and in-building radio frequency design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Acrobat, and other common software tools.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.
- Comfortable working on rooftops, in construction environments, and tunnels.
