Job Description:The CompanyOur client, a fast-paced commodity trading firm, is on the lookout for a Financial Analyst to join their expanding finance team in this newly created role. Your role includes compiling the monthly Finance Trade Book P&L and balance sheet schedules, performing inventory reconciliations, and managing intercompany AR/AP, sales, and purchase confirmations. You will also coordinate financial schedules for audits, respond to government surveys, and support ad hoc financial requests. A key part of your role will involve maintaining strong accounting controls by reviewing and enhancing processes, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and partnering with their global HQ to deliver accurate performance reports. A background in Big 4 audit and familiarity with tax matters will be highly regarded. Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP is essential, along with a solid grasp of GAAP.
