The APAC GM Regulatory Reporting IT team is responsible for driving regulatory reporting projects across the region from a technology perspective. We are looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager with strong functional knowledge of the APAC regulatory landscape, particularly trade reporting, and experience in managing IT-driven transformation programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors to enhance and implement regulatory reporting solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Functional IT Business Analyst / Project Manager, leading APAC regulatory reporting projects.
  • Manage regional and local initiatives to improve the bank’s regulatory reporting ecosystem.
  • Provide deep functional expertise on APAC regulatory requirements, especially trade reporting.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle across various investment banking asset classes.
  • Conduct detailed requirement gathering, solution analysis, and documentation.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, third-party vendors, and support teams.
  • Provide regular project updates, steering committee reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Collaborate with regional and global development teams to implement IT solutions and ensure timely delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with central teams in Europe and offshore and advocate for APAC-specific requirements.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks/issues to senior management.
  • Deliver tactical solutions for immediate business needs while working toward strategic, long-term solutions.
  • Conduct user training and prepare documentation before project go-live.

Requirements:

  • Strong business knowledge of Corporate and Investment Banking middle office, back-office trade processing, settlements, and accounting chains across asset classes, including FX, Rates, Structured Deposits, Fixed Income, Equities, and Equity Derivatives.
  • Hands-on experience in IT implementation within large investment banks.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and Macros is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of front-to-back trade booking, validation, confirmation, settlements, accounting, reconciliations, P&L, and risk calculations.
  • Expertise in Project Management, with a proven track record in leading large-scale transformation programs.
  • Strong ability to manage change and complexity with confidence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) are a plus
  • Experience working in an investment banking environment with regulatory reporting exposure.
