
Senior Sales Support Analyst
Summary
This role requires a data-driven individual who will collaborate closely with the digital data team. They will leverage strong analytical skills in Excel and Power BI to generate actionable sales insights for business reporting. Additionally, they will serve as a key liaison between the sales team and back-office functions and demonstrate a growth mindset to improve sales processes.
Job responsibilities
· Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and targets, incorporating market trends, historical data, and strategic initiatives, to drive achievement of regional revenue goals. Measure and report on forecast accuracy, providing insights for continuous improvement.
· Contribute to the development of sales strategies by providing data-driven insights and analysis. Track and analyse the effectiveness of implemented strategies, providing recommendations for optimization.
· Analyse the effectiveness of regional promotional programs, providing detailed reports on effectiveness and recommending adjustments to maximize impact.
· Leveraging CRM data to generate actionable insights for sales optimization. Participate in CRM enhancement projects and UAT testing, ensuring alignment with business needs.
· Maintain and document all sales system workflows and processes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
· Develop and manage the annual operating expense and product phasing budget, providing regular variance analysis and recommendations for cost optimization.
· Collaborate with supply chain and product management to ensure accurate order forecasting and inventory management, including initial forecasts for new product launches, and assist in pricing strategy.
· Provide comprehensive sales support to country managers and business development teams, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
· Develop and deliver training programs on CRM, reporting systems, and sales processes, ensuring consistent knowledge and skill development across the sales team.
· Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including GQM and KI, within the sales organization, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
· Provide analytical support for business reviews, mid-term planning, and Hoshin preparation, including target setting and distribution, ensuring alignment with global strategic objectives.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic projects, providing analytical expertise and contributing to project success. Develop and deliver training programs on sales analytics tools and methodologies to enhance cross-functional understanding.
Job requirements
· Proven experience in sales administration, operations, statistical analysis and reporting, or 2-3 years of dedicated sales operations analysis.
· Demonstrated understanding of regional product distribution value chains (minimum 1 year).
· Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PPT and Power BI), and CRM with a strong aptitude for data analysis.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working autonomously and collaboratively.
· Proactive, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
· Experience in the dental industry is a plus.
