As a Solidity Developer, you'll play a critical role in building and enhancing our trading systems. You'll work closely with traders, risk managers, and other developers to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge trading platforms. What You Will Do At Quant Matter?
· Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and optimized smart contracts using Solidity.
· Collaborate with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
· Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and best practices.
· Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies and tools to stay at the forefront of the industry.
· Troubleshoot and debug smart contracts, and implement solutions to address any issues.
· Write and maintain technical documentation for smart contracts and related systems.
· Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the blockchain platform.
· Mentor and guide junior developers in Solidity and blockchain development.
· Stay up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities and best practices in smart contract development.
· Contribute to open-source projects and the broader blockchain community (optional but a plus).
Our Ideal Candidates Would Have
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
· 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Solidity development.
· Deep understanding of programming languages mainly; Solidity, Rust and Go.
· Deep understanding of Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains.
· Proficiency in Solidity programming language and experience with various smart contract frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
· Strong understanding of blockchain concepts, including consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and decentralized applications (dApps).
· Experience with testing and debugging smart contracts.
· Knowledge of security best practices for smart contract development and experience mitigating vulnerabilities.
· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Experience with Web3 tools and technologies such as Web3.js, Ethers.js, IPFS, Chain-link.
· Experience with blockchain projects, such as DeFi, NFTs, DAOs is a plus.
· Contributions to open source blockchain projects are a plus.
