Job Description
- Supervising all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high-quality product is produced.
- Ensuring maximum clientele satisfaction through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Kitchen operation and administration.
- To prepare the kitchen for day-to-day operations and ensure smooth operations of the food department.
- To ensure consistency in the products that are of the highest quality and to adhere to deadlines.
- Audits on par stock in all areas to ensure all required supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need.
- Ensure that food handling and hygiene regulations are followed in accordance to standards.
- Check that the quantity and quality of ordered items are received and stored properly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1- 2 years of work experience for a cook.
- A recognized culinary certificate/ qualification and large food production experience would be an advantage.
- Ability to work in a large brigade with a multi-cultural team.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate in English.
- Knowledge in HACCP and ISO22K.
