Pre-Requisites:
- Preferably a degree holder with at least 2 years of experience if not in a supervisory role. Diploma holders will be considered for the engineer role.
- Minimally need to have CCNA or equivalent networking qualification.
- Basic understanding of virtualization such as VMs.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity technologies, firewalls, antivirus, etc.
- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience assisting senior engineers and able to work independently on daily tasks.
- Able to perform routine O&S functions, basic system health checks on servers and storage.
- Experience in system backups, checking server status, configuring IPs and VLANs for training, and performing OS patching.
- Assist the senior engineer with daily tasks such as deploying laptops for exercises.
- Assist users in preparing for cyber exercises, setting up OS Windows logins, etc.
Scope of Work
a. Perform installation and maintenance of equipment.
b. Configure and upgrade hardware, firmware, and software for the centre.
c. Prepare and set up the centre according to testing requirements.
d. Provide operations and support for equipment; diagnose hardware/software problems and arrange replacement of defective components.
e. Setup of simulated networks for training – includes networks, OS, databases, application servers, cyber monitoring systems, and training scenarios.
f. Develop, test, and implement custom scripts to enhance range operations.
g. Coordinate and follow up with vendors, system administrators, and project teams to resolve issues in the environments.
h. Troubleshoot and manage end-to-end availability, capacity, change, configuration, incident, and problem management of the range system.
i. Perform documentation for system design, development, implementation, and support activities.
The selected candidate will be working on-site at a customer location (army camp) situated in the Choa Chu Kang area.
