What The Role Is

This position is within the School of Business.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Drive industry development by spearheading partnership initiatives (local and overseas), encompassing multi/interdisciplinary collaboration, facilitating accelerated career pathways, and fostering mentorship, internship opportunities for students, and industry attachment for staff.
  • Execute industry collaboration initiatives with the various diplomas and departments to engage our stakeholders (i.e., students, alumni, and industry partners).
  • Lead business development efforts focused on identifying and pursuing industry consultancy projects in digitalization, sustainability and marketing.
  • Support the School of Business in research and consultancy work in the areas of digital marketing.
  • Teach full-time Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education Training (CET) courses and facilitate professional workshops, particularly Marketing and Communications & Media related subjects.
  • Plan and deliver lessons through appropriate teaching and learning strategies and methods and this includes setting and marking assignments and assessments.
  • Review and update curriculum to ensure currency and relevance.
  • Contribute to poly-wide/school-wide events or activities.


What We Are Looking For

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or Communications & Media.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in digital marketing or communications & media management.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset in managing various stakeholders.
  • Possess sound planning, organising and multi-tasking skills, with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
  • Adept in the use of technology and digital tools (experience in WordPress, FB/IG meta business, LinkedIn meta, TikTok, Google analytics etc is beneficial).
