Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Audit Associate to join our dynamic audit team in Singapore. You will play a crucial role in delivering quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and complete financial statement audits in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA) and other relevant regulatory requirements.

• Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses and internal control systems.

• Perform risk assessments and identify key audit areas.

• Prepare audit work papers that adequately document the audit procedures performed and the conclusions reached.

• Conduct tests of controls and substantive procedures to gather sufficient and appropriate audit evidence.

• Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to management.

• Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports.

• Supervise and mentor junior audit team members, providing guidance and feedback on their work.

• Assist in the development and delivery of training to junior staff.

• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professional conduct.

• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards, auditing regulations, and industry best practices.

• Participate in firm initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field from a recognized university.

• Possession of a relevant professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ISCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent is highly preferred.

• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant external audit experience in a public accounting firm in Singapore.

• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA).

• Familiarity with audit software (e.g., , Caseware) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

• A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.
