- Ensure that vessel complies with all reporting requirements including daily, weekly and Monthly Reports, review them and consistently provide feedback to vessel for proper and quality reports
- Monitor Defect List from Vessels on a weekly basis and plan rectification together with ship's crew
- Analyse the existing process and reporting and provide valuable inputs for improvement and standardization of processes
- Marine experience in a merchant-marine environment (Chief Engineer or above) on container vessels. Preferably experience in a shore-based ship management position.
- Experience as Technical superintendent for Container/ dry cargo/ tanker vessels.

- A high level of integrity and work ethics
- A STCW-'95 or later Certificate of Competency in Marine Engineering for service in the Unlimited area and without any significant limitations
- Hold an Bachelors Engineering Degree in mechanical, electrical or naval architecture
- Highly skilled with technology and advance proficiency with Microsoft Suite
