We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.Job ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of the Client Tax unit responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the FATCA / CRS advisory and compliance across the Group. You will offer guidance as well as strategic advice on FATCA/CRS related matters. You will also work closely with external tax advisors, regional teams and regulators to ensure that the bank follows the best practices of governance.This role will be responsible for supporting the following:
  • Enhance stakeholder awareness and understanding of the Bank's FATCA / CRS compliance obligations in the countries that we operate in.
  • Enhance the FATCA/CRS governance framework - Support the implementation and maintenance of the Group FATCA / CRS policies and supporting risk and control framework
  • Monitor and analyse regulatory developments and trends in the region; Collaborate with stakeholders to implement reporting updates.
  • Provide clear, timely tax technical advice on FATCA and CRS to support internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain documentation on tax reporting positions for FATCA, CRS and other relevant regulations.
  • Manage regional FATCA/CRS initiatives and projects.
  • Manage FATCA / CRS regulatory audits and inquires.
Job Requirements
  • Degree holder with
8 years of relevant experience in the banking and finance sector, with strong strategic and analytical skills. * Subject matter expert on tax reporting regimes including FATCA, CRS and US withholding.
  • Experience of program governance/ project management, with strong ability to drive projects independently and take ownership.
  • Analytical with good problem-solving skills to handle complex and dynamic situations.
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, business partners, tax authorities and external advisors.
  • Attention to detail, good prioritization, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
