Job Description
In your role as a Decision Science manager, you will:
- Own a distinct domain and be responsible for end outcomes
- Own holistic and data-driven risk strategies to support PayPal’s global financial business goals
- Plan and execute long-term projects from start to finish
- Drive end-to-end processes with partners across many organizations
- Work with product and platform teams to develop cutting edge, scalable and safe products, to enhance the experience for our global customers
- Measure performance against KPIs and goals
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and peers across the company and share updates with senior leaders in a clear manner
- Lead and mentor your team members
What do you need to bring-
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in one of the following: economics, finance, engineering, Data sciences, etc.
- 8+ years of work experience in relevant positions (e.g. Decision scientist, data analyst, statistician, data scientist, FP&A, product/process manager, risk management, army intelligence units)
- 2+ year of experience as people manager
- Proven analytical skills
- Technical orientation; Experience in SQL / R / Python / other programming language – a must
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Quick-thinker, fast learner, wide general knowledge, problem solver
