Responsibilities
- This position is for Centre for Global Education and Opportunities (GEO).
- Operations
- Support Program Managers on operations for the inbound and outbound programmes, including recruitment, nomination, application processing, credit transfer, and billing.
- Provide logistics support for programs and events, including venue coordination, transportation, catering, company visits, photography, and materials preparation.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute student briefings and student events, including liaison and publicity. Provide student advisory services and support.
- Conduct After-Action Reviews and post-programme surveys and implement enhancements based on feedback.
- Review and streamline application processes and systems for efficiency, including digitisation and process integration.
- Prepare funding and end-of-programme reports for senior management and external funders.
- Manage procurement processes, identifying and selecting suppliers that meet quality, cost, and delivery standards. Engage with key stakeholders, including partners, the finance office, vendors, and instructors.
- Marketing & Communication
- Support Program Managers to develop and execute online and offline marketing campaigns to promote programs and initiatives.
- Create and manage content for various media channels, focusing on student success stories, industry trends, and key program highlights.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate program announcements and promotions.
- Conceptualize and produce marketing materials, including eDMs, social media posts, infographics, and presentation decks.
- Manage social media platforms such as Facebook, IG, LinkedIn, etc and engage with audiences on these platforms.
- Set up WeChat and XiaoHongShu (RedNote) to engage with Chinese audiences.
- Conduct market research to identify best practices for student recruitment and partner engagement strategies.
- General Responsibilities
- Support ad hoc projects requiring a high level of professionalism and execution.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Diploma or degree holder, preferably with programme delivery and event planning/management experience.
- Familiarity with operations in global education.
- At least two years of experience running student programmes at university-level and/or managing cross-cultural student events.
- Driven self-starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player who is resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented and ambiguous work environment.
- Communicates well - both written and spoken, and is confident of leading tertiary students of different nationalities.
- Ability to engage target audiences on multiple social media platforms.
- Is meticulous, has an eye for detail and appreciates the value and need for thorough planning and good documentation.
- Is technology and social media-savvy; able to use design software to develop publicity materials.
