Role Overview:

This Technical Sales Enablement Manager plans, designs, develops and delivers effective technical training initiatives for F5’s Solutions Engineering and Channel teams around the world. You will use skills and knowledge of F5 solutions to drive the worldwide enablement programs to build pipeline growth and sales revenue.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver strategic sales enablement initiatives to drive sales productivity and effectiveness across the organization
  • Build and maintain courseware for internal and external technical sales team members (including lab guides presentations, web-based training, demo guides, role plays)
  • Leverage wide-ranging experience to deliver instructor-led training in both in-person and virtual environments across the APCJ theatre solving for language and regional needs
  • Evaluate learners on the successful completion of courses, including assessments of technical presentations and demos
  • Work closely with Field Enablement leadership along with Technical Sales leadership and Product Management on adding new topics to enablement curriculum
  • Participate in and support global F5 Sales and Technical Sales annual conferences
  • Provide quarterly program reports for Sales leadership
  • Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the code or other company policies
  • This is a regional role involves up to 50% travel and collaboration across multiple time zones

What You’ll Bring:

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science and IT application related disciplines
  • 5+ years of in training-related functions in technology companies selling to enterprise customers
  • 3+ years in field sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing role
  • Prior Solutions Engineering experience or in-depth knowledge of F5 application delivery and security platforms and solutions, SaaS platforms, cloud solutions, and network/computing concepts or similar technologies is highly desirable
  • Experience with automation and orchestration, modern application platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.), REST APIs, both imperative and declarative is a plus
  • Proven success leading complex projects from start to finish, working effectively across internal functional teams and external vendor relationships
  • Highly organized and reliable, with strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and a good team player
  • Confidence and presence to collaborate with management and field personnel
