Position: Buyer/ Procurement Specialist (Contract – 12 months)

Location: Central Region

Working Hour: Monday to Friday, 8am to 530pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global supply and inventory strategies for upcoming programs.
  • Drive metrics on supply continuity and inventory levels during HVM transitions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to raise purchase orders based on demand.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries; escalate urgent delays.
  • Monitor supplier performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Service Level Satisfaction metrics.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Communicate procurement strategies and plans to cross-functional teams.
  • Address process gaps and support the development of strategic supply solutions.
  • Leverage automation tools like RPA or Power Automate to improve processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience, and dealing with Suppliers will be advantage.
  • Strong supplier management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience with KPIs, supply metrics, and procurement tools.
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., RPA, Power Automate) is a plus.
  • Able to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
