Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation engineering systems and processes to meet safety standards and optimize product performance.
  • Define and validate performance and quality criteria through FEED (Front End Engineering Design), installation, commissioning, and testing stages, including IQ, OQ, and PQ validations, ensuring seamless transition to production.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to devise technical solutions, design experiments, and establish validation and qualification procedures to ensure compliance with governance, company standards, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and execute testing protocols, analyze test outcomes, update activity logs, and document results for concept approval.
  • Oversee adherence to safety and quality regulations, ensuring standards are maintained.
  • Calibrate and repair machinery and equipment to support operational reliability.
  • Work within cross-functional teams to identify root causes of product failures and drive continuous improvement in automation systems.
  • Develop maintenance procedures, checklists, and work instructions for new machines and auxiliary equipment; provide training for operational and maintenance staff.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external teams on Process FMEA and machine qualification activities.
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to complete Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) within delivery timelines.
  • Apply Lean principles such as 5S, Gemba-walk, 5-why, and implement improvement suggestions for operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with QA and production teams to submit and follow up on qualifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational needs.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in related roles with Diploma or degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Strong understanding of automation engineering system design concept & development, manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of statistical software analysis (e.g., MINITAB, MATLAB)
  • Have knowhow in Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and CPK study.
