Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategic Direction:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the long-term business vision.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that technology capabilities are in line with overarching business goals and growth objectives.
- Lead digital transformation efforts, integrating advanced technologies like AI, IoT, and cloud solutions across all properties.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Guide and motivate a global IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Provide mentorship and professional growth opportunities, ensuring succession planning and continuity within the IT team.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong, strategic relationships with external vendors and technology providers to ensure top-tier service and cost-effective solutions.
- Lead negotiations with key technology vendors for major contracts and partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Governance, Risk, and Security Management:
- Develop and implement a robust IT governance framework that ensures compliance with global industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee cybersecurity protocols, risk management strategies, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard business continuity and security.
- Ensure all operations are supported by comprehensive business continuity and recovery strategies across the entire organization.
- Collaboration Across Departments:
- Partner with key departments, including operations, marketing, and finance, to integrate technology that enhances business performance and guest satisfaction.
- Optimize IT systems and infrastructure to improve operational processes and support initiatives such as marketing campaigns and guest experience enhancements.
- Financial and Resource Management:
- Oversee and manage the IT budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources and the maximization of operational cost-efficiency.
- Work closely with finance and procurement teams to make informed decisions on technology investments and vendor contracts.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or Master's in IT Management is a plus.
- Experience:Minimum of 15 years in IT, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in the luxury hospitality or high-service industry.
- Leadership Skills:Proven experience leading large-scale IT transformations, managing significant budgets, and overseeing global IT operations.
- Technical Expertise:In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with hospitality-specific technology platforms such as Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and guest experience technologies.
